  1. Enter your license number, expiry date, and official receipt number (if you choose yes).

In case you’re an alien resident, you will need your Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR). Enter your ACR number, expiry date, and nationality.

Apply for Your Driver’s License Or Renew It

You can do this only if your last renewal transaction was made through the LTO office or portal. In case, you chose a different means, then you won’t be able to renew your registration from the site.

  • Ask for your COC (Certificate of Coverage) from your insurance company. They will automatically send it to the LTO office. 
  • Take your vehicle for inspection at the Private Motor Inspection Center (PMVIC). The report will also be sent to LTMS directly.

The process of license renewal is accompanied by the CDE Online Validation Exam. Every applicant needs to take this test and score at least 80%. The exam contains 25 questions, out of which you must get 20 correct answers.
